Amtrak Acela

Amtrak Acela: High-speed Electric Multiple Unit is a United States add-on developed and maintained by Dovetail Games, for their TSW Console and PC platforms and was released on February 21, 2023 for the Train Sim World 3 video game. Acela is Amtrak’s high-speed passenger train service that runs along the Northeast Corridor (NEC):

Sustainability – Acela trains are 100% electric, and about one third of the energy they use is generated by carbon-free sources. Traveling on the Acela produces up to 72 percent less CO2e emissions than airplanes, and 83 percent less than a personal vehicle.

Speed – The Acela can reach speeds of up to 150 miles per hour (240 km/h), qualifying it as high-speed rail.

Route – The Acela runs between Washington, D.C. and Boston, with stops in Baltimore, New York City, and Philadelphia.
