The BR Class 47 Brush Type 4 is a Train Sim World diesel-electric locomotive that was used on British railways from the 1960s until the present day. It was also known as the Hawker Siddeley Type 4.

History:
- Brush Traction developed the Class 47 in the 1960s
- 512 Class 47s were built between 1962 and 1968
- The Class 47 was used on both passenger and freight trains
- Some Class 47s were rebuilt as Class 57s
- As of January 2020, 78 Class 47s still existed
