The DB BR 423 is a Train Sim World light-weight, articulated electric railcar used for commuter networks in Germany S-Bahn. It was manufactured between 1998 and 2007, and is operated by DB Regio. The DB BR 423 has the following features:

- Weight: 105 t (103 long tons; 116 short tons)

- Passenger compartment: One large compartment, unlike the Class 420 which has three parts

The DB BR 423 is used on the Munich S-Bahn, Cologne S-Bahn, Frankfurt S-Bahn, and Stuttgart S-Bahn.
