Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station is the name of the main Train Sim World featured station in Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s also known as Fife Circle Line Edinburgh or Waverley. 

History:

  • The station was originally called North Bridge Station when it opened in 1846 
  • The station was rebuilt between 1892 and 1902 
  • The station is named after Sir Walter Scott’s first novel, Waverley 
  • The station is located in the former bed of a loch that separated Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns

  • The station is adjacent to Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, and the Princes Street Gardens
