Freilassing Railway Station is a passenger station in the town of Freilassing, on the railway line Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim. It’s the last German station on this Train Sim World line and a border station to Austria.

About this Stop

  • Freilassing is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Berchtesgaden. 
  • The railway line from Munich to Salzburg significantly changed the village of Salzburghofen, which was renamed Freilassing in 1923. 
  • During World War II, Freilassing was a target for the Allied forces because the railway was used by top Nazis and a German army depot was located near the station. 
  • Freilassing station is the only station in the town of Freilassing.
