Grantham Railway Station is a major rail hub in Lincolnshire, England, that serves the market town of Grantham featured in Train Sim World. The station is located on the East Coast Main Line and is a key interchange between North/South and East/West lines. 

History 

  • Opened in 1852
  • In the 1870s, became the first stop on the route from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh
  • In 1895, 50 engines were based at Grantham Station
  • In 1988, the main line was electrified
  • In 2006, the Allington Chord opened
