Halebank station, also known as Halewood Road, is a Train Sim World featured railway station on the Garston and Warrington railway. It was located between Runcorn Gap and Warrington, serving Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe Halewood and Hale. The station was part of the St Helens Canal & Railway Company (SHC&RC) and later connected to the Warrington & Stockport Railway in the United Kingdom.


Halebank Location

  • Location: Halebank station was situated on the east side of Burr Lane (later Lower Road). It was one mile north of Hale village and one mile southeast of Halewood in Europe.
  • Route Opening: It opened as Halewood Road on July 1, 1852, with two platforms and facilities on the south side of the line.
  • Connection: On May 1, 1854, the SHC&RC connected to the Warrington & Stockport Railway at Warrington Arpley, creating a through route between Garston and Manchester.
  • Services: In the mid-1850s, Halewood Road was served by trains between St Helens and Garston Dock, and between Warrington and Garston Dock.
