Island Line 2022 is a United Kingdom add-on route developed and maintained by Rivet Games, for their Train Sim World Console and PC platforms and was released on July 19, 2022 for the TSW2 video game. Island Line 2022: BR Class 484 is an add-on for the game Train Sim World 2 that features a modernized version of the Island Line route on the Isle of Wight. The add-on includes the Class 484 EMU, which is a two-car train with modern cabs, digital destination displays, and new headlights.
The Island Line is an 8.5-mile (13.7 km) railway that runs from Ryde Pier to Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. For 50 years, the line was operated by London Underground tube stock, but the Class 483s were in need of replacement. The new Class 484s are rebuilt and modernized versions of the District Line D78 Stock. To accommodate the new, taller fleet, the line was overhauled with rebuilt platforms, altered track, and new signaling.
