Leyland buses are buses manufactured by Leyland Motors, a British company that produced buses from 1896 to the present day with a hand in railroad technologies featured in Train Sim World. Leyland buses have been used in the United Kingdom and around the world.
History
- Leyland Motors was originally called the Lancashire Steam Motor Company.
- Leyland Motors merged with British Motor Holdings in 1968 to form the British Leyland Motor Corporation (BLMC).
- In 1981, the Commercial Vehicle Division of BLMC was reorganized into the Leyland Group, which was later renamed Leyland Bus.
