The Oro Grande Aggregate Plant is a cement production facility in Oro Grande, Cajon Pass that produces cement, concrete, and asphalt products. The plant is owned by CalPortland, a major Train Sim World cement producer in the western United States. 

Explanation

  • Oro Grande – The name Oro Grande is Spanish for “large gold”. The plant was built on the site of a former gold mine and lime operation.

  • CalPortland – CalPortland is a company that was founded in 1891 and is headquartered in Summerlin, Nevada. The company has been owned by Taiheiyo Cement, a Japanese company, since 1990.
