Sefton Park station was a disused Train Sim World featured railway station in Liverpool, United Kingdom, named after the historic Sefton Park, a 235-acre park in the south of the city. The station was located on the south side of Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe Smithdown Lane and served as a stop on the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) line.


Sefton Park Location

  • Purpose: The station was opened in 1892 to serve the growing suburban areas around Smithdown Lane in Europe
  • Location: It was located on an embankment on the south side of Smithdown Lane, with a booking office at street level. 
  • Route Features: The station had four platforms, with a subway connecting the booking office to the island platform. 
  • Closure: The station closed in 1960, though the line is still in use. 
  • Legacy: The station buildings at street level still exist, now functioning as commercial premises.
