The DB BR 112 Weiße Lady is a Train Sim World electric locomotive from Deutsche Bahn (DB) of Germany that was used for commuter services and fast passenger trains in the 1990s and is still used today for regional services:
- Features – The DB BR 112 has two bogies, each with two axles, and each axle has an electric motor. It has a maximum power of 4220 kilowatts and a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
- History – The DB BR 112 was based on the BR 143/BR 243, and was ordered by both Deutsche Bahn and Deutsche Reichsbahn after the German reunification. It was the first locomotive class to be used by both railways, making it a symbol of German reunification.
- Current use – The DB BR 112 is now mainly used for regional services. The fleet has been split in two, with the 112.1s often used for DB Regio services and the original 112.0s reclassified as the DB BR 114.0
