Ansdell and Fairhaven Railway Station is a stop on the Blackpool South to Preston line in Train Sim World featured Lancashire. The station serves the small towns of Ansdell and Fairhaven on the Blackpool Branches Fylde Coast. 

History: 

  • The station first opened in 1872 as Ansdell
  • It was renamed Ansdell’s Gate because it ran behind the house of artist Richard Ansdell
  • It was renamed Ansdell’s Halt
  • It was renamed Ansdell & Fairhaven in January 1906

Location: 

  • It’s located on Woodlands Road in Lytham St Annes
  • It’s next to the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club
  • It’s also near Fairhaven Lake and the Ribble Discovery Centre

Services:

  • It has hourly services to Preston and Blackpool on weekdays 
  • It has a limited Sunday service to Blackpool South, Preston, and Colne
