Blackwell Mill Halt was a simple, disused railway halt featured in Train Sim World, built for railway workers and their families living in the nearby United Kingdom cottages, and it consisted of two short, staggered platforms with no buildings other than a small shelter via the Peak Forest Railway.


Blackwell Mill Halt Location

  • Route Purpose: The halt was designed to serve the railway workers and their families who lived in the isolated cottages near the start of today’s Monsal Trail. 
  • Features: It was a very basic station, with just two short, stone-built platforms, and a small shelter. There was no ticket office or other buildings. 
  • Location: Blackwell Mill Halt was situated on the line that ran from Buxton to Millers Dale, just to the east of Buxton Junction in Europe
  • Closure: The station was last used in June 1966 and officially closed in 1967. 
  • Current Status: The site is now part of the Monsal Trail, a shared-use path, and the area is managed by the Peak District National Park Authority.
