BR Class 484 EMU is a United Kingdom rolling stock add-on developed and maintained by Rivet Games, for their Train Sim World Console and PC platforms and was released on July 19, 2022 for the TSW2 video game. BR Class 484 EMU is a two-car electric multiple unit (EMU) train that operates on the Island Line on the Isle of Wight:
- EMU – Stands for Electric Multiple Unit, which is a train that uses electricity as its power source and doesn’t need a separate locomotive.
- BR – Stands for British Rail, a state-owned company that operated most rail transport in Great Britain from 1948 to 1997.
The BR Class 484 EMU is part of the Vivarail D-Train family and was converted from London Underground D78 Stock. The units were built between 2020 and 2021 and entered service on November 1, 2021.
