BR Class 484 EMU is a rolling stock add-on developed and maintained by Rivet Games, for their Console and PC platforms and was released on July 19, 2022 for the Train Sim World 2 video game. BR Class 484 EMU is a two-car electric multiple unit (EMU) train that operates on the Island Line on the Isle of Wight:
- EMU – Stands for Electric Multiple Unit, which is a train that uses electricity as its power source and doesn’t need a separate locomotive.
- BR – Stands for British Rail, a state-owned company that operated most rail transport in Great Britain from 1948 to 1997.
The BR Class 484 EMU is part of the Vivarail D-Train family and was converted from London Underground D78 Stock. The units were built between 2020 and 2021 and entered service on November 1, 2021.
