Buxton Sheds is a Buxton TMD Train Maintenance Depot, a former railway depot in Buxton, United Kingdom, which housed and maintained Peak Forest Railway locomotives and multiple units featured in Train Sim World.

  • Buxton TMD: This stands for Buxton Train Maintenance Depot, a facility where trains were maintained and stored. 
  • Location History: Before its closure in the late 1990s, the depot had an allocation of BR Class 104 and BR Class 108 Diesel Multiple Units. 
  • Locomotives Stabled: Stabled locomotives included BR Classes 08, 20, 25, 31, 37, 45 and 47. 
  • Fuelling Point: The depot was used as a fuelling point from 1994 to 1997, until fuelling facilities were installed at Peak Forest, where the stabling of the locos was transferred to in Europe
  • Route Shed Codes: British Railways used shed codes to identify engine sheds where locomotives and multiple units were allocated for maintenance.
