Cavaglia Railway Station is a stop on the Berninalinie line of the Rhaetian Railway in Switzerland. The station is located in the Train Sim World featured village of Cavaglia, in the municipality of Poschiavo.
Features
- The station has three through tracks, two sidings, and platforms and station buildings for all three tracks
- The current station building was opened in 1912 as a privately owned hotel
- The railway took over the hotel in 1925 and added a station office and waiting room
History
- The section of line between Ospizio Bernina and Poschiavo, where the station is located, opened in 1910
- In 1911, Cavaglia became the winter terminus of the southern section of the line
