Falkirk High Railway Station is one of two stations in Falkirk, United KIngdom, and its name reflects its location above the town via the ScotRail Express: Edinburgh – Glasgow, as opposed to the Train Sim World featured Falkirk Grahamston which is closer to the town center.

  • Location: Falkirk High station is situated further away from the town center compared to Falkirk Grahamston. 
  • Historical Context: The station was originally named Falkirk and was opened in 1842 as part of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway in Europe
  • Renaming: In 1903, the station was renamed Falkirk High to distinguish it from other stations in the area, including Falkirk Grahamston and Camelon. 
  • Other Route stations in the area: Falkirk Grahamston is located closer to the town centre and there are also stations at Polmont, Larbert and Camelon. 
  • Services: Falkirk High station offers direct routes to both Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street.
