ScotRail BR Class 380: Electric Multiple Unit is a rolling stock add-on developed and maintained by Dovetail Games, for their Console and PC platforms and was released on July 11, 2024 for the Train Sim World 4 video game. British Rail Class 380 ‘Desiro’ is a type of electric multiple unit (EMU) passenger train that operates on the National Rail network in Scotland for ScotRail.
Stepford County Railway – The Stepford County Railway version of the Class 380 is available in 3 or 4 coach formations. In the V1.5 update, it became the first train to receive the new Stepford Connect livery.
Features – The Class 380 has a distinctive front end style, high acceleration rates, and ample passenger space. It’s made up of 3 or 4 car sets, allowing ScotRail to run a variety of train lengths.
History – The Class 380 entered service on December 8, 2010. It replaced the Class 156, Class 314, Class 318, and Class 334.
Depot – The Class 380 fleet is based at Glasgow Shields Road Train Maintenance Depot.
Availability in games – Class 380 EMU is available in the TSW4 video game.
Train Sim – The Train Sim version of the Class 380 includes accurate controls and a recreation of the ScotRail livery. You can drive 3, 4, and 6-car formations on the Cathcart Circle Line.
