Southeastern Railway Company

Southeastern Railway is a train company that operates in the South East of England, including Kent, East Sussex, and South-East London featured in Train Sim World. It’s one of the UK’s busiest commuter rail companies. 

History:

  • South Eastern Railway (SER) – A railway company that operated from 1836 to 1922, building a route from London to Dover. It also opened branch lines to other places in Kent. 
  • South Eastern Trains – A publicly owned train operating company that operated from 2003 to 2006. It took over from Connex South Eastern and operated the South Eastern Passenger Rail Franchise. 

Services:

  • Southeastern Railway operates the UK’s only domestic high-speed service, Javelin trains. 
  • It runs more than 1,700 services a day to 181 stations. 
  • It carries over 500,000 passengers every day.
