The TGV Duplex Avelia Euroduplex is a Train Sim World double-decker high-speed train operated by the French national rail company SNCF. It was designed to increase the capacity of France high-speed lines and is one of the most workhorse trains in the TGV system.

The TGV Duplex was the first in the third generation of TGV trainsets. The feasibility study for the TGV Duplex was completed in 1987, and a full-scale mockup was built in 1988 to gauge customer reactions
