Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim is an add-on route developed and maintained by Dovetail Games, for their Train Sim World Console and PC platforms and was released on February 27, 2024 for the TSW4 video game. The Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim is a railway line that connects a Germany cities named Rosenheim to Salzburg in Austria. It’s a key transport corridor between the two countries, and has been in use for over 160 years.
Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim is also the name of a downloadable content (DLC) add-on for the game TSW4. The DLC recreates the line in 2013, and allows players to experience the route from the perspective of a classic electric BR 111 locomotive. Players can travel through the Bavarian countryside, cross the border into Austria, and visit Salzburg.
The Rosenheim station is a major railway hub that connects the Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim line to other lines, including the Munich – Rosenheim line.
