East Midlands Railway (EMR) is a United Kingdom train operating company that provides rail services in the East Midlands region of England and to London featured on Train Sim World. EMR is owned by Transport UK Group, an international transport group.
History
- EMR was previously known as East Midlands Trains (EMT).
- EMT was formed in 2007 by combining the Midland Mainline franchise and East Midland services.
- In 2019, Abellio, a public transportation company, acquired the franchise and renamed it EMR.
